As you are aware, in case of Diamond / Precious stone studded jewellery, the exact piece of diamond or stone which may get studded can be decided only during the process of SETTING. Which means, typically one needs to issue more diamonds to Artisans / Karigars than suggested in the design. More importantly, when the final ornament is ready and Artisan returns the remaining diamonds / stones, the software should recognize automatically as well as exactly which diamonds are studded in the ornament and what is the weight as well as rate of such diamonds.

ORNATE facilitates you to carry out the entire manufacturing transaction exactly in the same manner and on entering details of broken, lost and physically returned diamonds, it will find out and provide proper stock effects of studded diamonds / stones.

More over, at the time of issuing goods to Artisan, user can enter POINTER wise sub details of diamond with each diamond size separately. At the time of receipt, the same details can be entered. Such pointer wise details shall be available even during sales or purchase transactions.

ORNATE offers the facility to print all vouchers like sales invoice, metal receipt and cash or cheque receipt on-line as well as off-line.

You can issue a regular sale bill to your customers and at the time of issuing such invoice you can decide to maintain outstanding in either metal or currency or both. ORNATE also facilitates you to maintain Gold or Silver outstanding in Fine metal and charges for diamonds, stones, beads or labour in currency. Finally, customer payments can be received in metal or currency or both as per outstanding balance. Here you can use Rate Fixing option of ORNATE to convert metal outstanding in currency or vice versa.

At the time of issuing sales invoice to your customers the image of the each item sold can be printed on such bill / invoice. Alternatively packing list can be issued with images to customers. One can also prepare Guarantee Cards for each piece of diamond ornament.

You can also issue items on approval basis to your customers. This will enable you to maintain approval stock lying with customers, approval return entries as well as preparation of sales invoice against stock sent on approval.

Accounting module provides all statutory reports right from cash book, bank book, journal, day book, ledger accounts to control reports like trial balance, trading & manufacturing account, profit & loss account as well as balance sheet. Apart from this all registers like issue, receipt, sales and purchase are also prepared in user definable formats. VAT and CST computations are also prepared as required.

ORNATE offers facility to maintain simultaneous data of 999 financial years together and users can switch between any financial years to locate exact information.

ORNATE facilitates item group wise, item wise as well as piece wise stock maintenance in multiple units like Gross Wt., Net Wt., Fine Wt. and Pieces. Metal outstanding of your customers, suppliers as well as Artisans can also be maintained in Net Wt., Fine Wt. and Pieces.

You can also maintain entire manufacturing inventory by preparing item-wise tags / labels. This will enable differentiation between raw stock and ready stock. Various MIS reports are available like Labels in stock, Fast & Slow moving items, Aging analysis of each piece of inventory, Queries based on weight & days and piece wise margin report, etc.

ORNATE allows you to print tags on standard Tag stationary of inkjet and / or laser printers with information like Tag no, Gross Wt, Net Wt, Labour charges, other charges, MRP etc. One can also opt for Barcode module to print Tags / Labels.

Rate conversion utility of ORNATE also helps you in changing rates of gold, diamond and/or labor charges for all items in stock at any given point in time.

This module enables preparation of Bar Coded Tags. Preparing sales invoices just by scanning bar coded tags results in faster invoice preparation. Stock reconciliation option of ORNATE, facilitates users in tallying physical inventory with computerized stock even while other functions like sales, purchase, issue and receipt of stock is going on. Stock reconciliation helps users in identifying missing inventory items easily and quickly.

This module helps in tracking customer orders and Artisan orders. Customer as well as Artisan orders tracking become very easy with the help of query as well as reminders on delivery schedules. Daily reminder facility is available by which you can get job reminder even before starting any other work in ORNATE.

Here entire order management can be based on retail order style (Settlement of weight on net weight basis) or wholesale order style (Settlement of weight on fine weight basis).

You can also get a rapid order query for customer / artisan on pressing a single key from main menu. This query can be generated based on order number, order date, delivery date or party name.

Every user of the software need not necessarily be operating all functions. i.e. one who is working on issuing goods to customers need not know the balance sheet or profit & loss statement of the jewellery business. With the help of Security module one can create user wise operation rights. Apart from allowing or disallowing any user from using options, this module also helps in restricting voucher modification or deletion.

Catalogue module of ORNATE facilitates you to maintain records of all such products and also provides an option to prepare quotation by incorporating changes in types of diamonds very easily.

This module helps in interfacing Weighing scale and tallying the physical weight of the ornaments with the recorded entry. This feature can also be used to validate the total weight of items sold against every invoice.
