This is a standard version of ORNATE Retail Jewellery software. This is most suitable for any size or type of retail show room looking for computerizing all the operations including Billing, Stock & Inventory, and Order Management, Accounting as well as Artisan / Smith issue and receipt. ORNATE 7.13 is designed in modular fashion so that users can implement the same in phased manner if required. The modules are-

This module takes care of basic functionality which includes Stock / Inventory Management, Sales Management, Purchase Management, Artisan Issue / Receipt, Customer Issue / Receipt, Accounts Receivable / Payable and Accounting functions from cash book to balance sheet. This module also takes care of Touch/wastage based transactions with Artisans / suppliers popularly known as Karigar Diary.

If one does not opt for Barcode module of ORNATE, Tags/ Labels can be printed on standard Tag stationary for ink-jet or laser printers with information like Tag no, Gross Wt, Net Wt, Labour charges, other charges, MRP etc.

This module is required by all jewelry retail businesses who are also dealing in diamond / stone studded jewellery. It takes care of all the 4 Cs of diamond business. The module enables stock maintenance of Studded Jewelry with all minute details like Gross Wt, Gold Wt, Diamond Wt (as per different types of diamonds), Setting Charges, Labor Charges etc.

This module enables preparation of Bar Coded Tags. Preparing sales invoices just by scanning bar coded tags results in faster invoice preparation. Stock reconciliation option of ORNATE facilitates users in tallying physical inventory with computerized stock even while other functions like sales, purchase, issue and receipt of stock is going on. Stock reconciliation helps users in identifying missing inventory items easily and quickly.

This module helps in tracking customer orders and Artisan orders. Customer as well as Artisan orders tracking become very easy with the help of query as well as reminders on delivery schedules. Daily reminders are available before starting any other works in ORNATE.

Every user of the software need not necessarily be operating all functions. i.e. one who is working on billing/ cash counter need not know the balance sheet or profit & loss statement of the show room. With the help of Security module one can create user wise operation rights. Apart from allowing or disallowing any user from using options, this module also helps in restricting voucher modification or deletion.

Central monitoring facility of Security module helps owners in authorizing each and every voucher entered by users across the network. ORNATE provides choice of allowing or restricting even printing of vouchers till they are authenticated by authorized person or owner.

Security module also has functions of data locking and on-line auditing. Data locking helps in avoiding modification/ deletion of vouchers after all the reports are verified or interim statutory returns are filled. On-line audit facility helps in developing effective internal audit systems.

Together with Barcode & weighing scale modules, this module helps in reducing threats of internal thefts by helping users in avoiding errors in weight entry and labour charges entry which can result in serious cash outflow without getting easily noticed.

This module helps in printing the image of the each item sold on the bill / invoice. This module will also enable you to monitor sales/turn over of stock based on designs/ images. One can also prepare Guarantee Cards with the use of this module along with Tag & Studded Jewellery modules.

This helps in maintaining records on PC of various designs available at the Showroom / outlet and can be made available to the customers. Quotations can also be prepared with the help of this module by incorporating changes in type of diamonds very easily.

This module helps in interfacing Weighing scale and tallying the physical weight of the ornaments with the recorded entry. This feature can also be used to validate the total weight of items sold against every invoice.
